Booking a Post Lockdown Appointment

If your looking to book an appointment the quickest way will be to join our waiting list. Just send us a message using the Contact Us button in the bottom right of the screen!

Client COVID Secure Check

If you have an appoiontment then please read the following information before you attend you appointment. If you have displayed symptoms or wish to discuss further the information below, please send us a message using our contact form in the bottom right hand of the page.

  1. You have an appointment.
  2. Your attending alone for your appointment.
    • Parents, if you are comfortable please allow your teens/ children in the salon alone & only accompany them where you feel it is vital. Parents will only be allowed to accompany 1 child or teen at a time.
  3. Please remain outside or in your vehicle until a member of staff instructs you to enter.
  4. Please do not bring in food.
  5. You will be required to wear a face covering, unless you have a valid exemption.
  6. If you have displayed any of the following symptoms you should not attend:
    • a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
    • a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
    • a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal
  7. Please only bring in what you may need during you appointment. We will be unable to store items such as coats and bags so please leave these in your vehicle where possible.
  8. Upon entering you will be asked to wash your hands/ sanitise.
  9. Please maintain a 2m distance from staff and clients as much as is practically possible.
  10. We will allow a maximum of 10 customers in the building at any one time.
  11. Please work with us to help maintain our teams and your health during and after your vist.

It's difficult to put into words how much our Mirror Talk family is missing all our beautiful clients; we hope you are all keeping healthy and safe.

We have had numerous clients messaging and enquiring about our re-opening date and how to request an appointment. It's now evident with the government's guidance and restrictions that we are unlikely to be open before July. While this news is extremely upsetting and a problematic scenario to find ourselves in, we understand how important it is to keep everyone protected. We firmly believe that it is the right decision, given the proximity that we spend with our clients.

We have been making some plans and considering our process for making appointments when we do re-open. We have decided the best, and easiest method to do this will be to create a waiting list.

We will reserve spaces for all the clients who had appointments booked before the lockdown, starting from 23rd March, then moving forward through our diaries. We will shortly launch a short online form to add you details to the waiting list to help with scheduling appointments. You will be able to add yourself to the list with just a few personal details & information such as services required, preferred dates etc.

We are expecting a high demand for appointments, and depending on the restrictions put in place, we are considering how we might maximise our time available with our clients. A service we are considering is to have video consultations with you before your appointment. This will ensure we are booking you in for the correct services, limiting our contact & enabling us to be as prepared as possible for you.

We are predicting an increase in colour correction, colour change & restyles. This is something that we will prepare for creatively and professionally drawing on our experience as a team to RE-inspire the true you! It's going to be fun and will keep us on our toes.

The majority of our colour clients will require skin tests before a colour service due to the length of time between appointments. We are working on a plan to complete these in advance but as close to your appointment as possible.

We will likely be limited initially to spacing our client appointments out and keeping social distancing, along with even more cleaning procedures in-between appointments. The government guidelines could restrict the number of services we can do daily. We will only open with all the necessary PPE in place to ensure the safety for both our clients and team. If required initially we will extend our opening times and days with the endeavour to look after all your appointments needs.

We have been working hard at preparing the salon for your return, and I cannot wait.

We promise we will do our very best to accommodate as many clients as possible, as soon as we safely can.

If any clients are running low on any products, please don't hesitate to contact us. We visit the salon regularly and pick messages up and would be happy to organise something.
